NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA – September 22, 2005 – KZG, the #1 Custom ProLine, announced today the appointment of Jonathan Abrahams as Director of Public Relations and Marketing. The addition of Abrahams is a major part of the company’s move toward greater visibility in the golf equipment industry.
In his new position, Abrahams will sharpen KZG’s brand identity and develop marketing solutions to promote the brand’s awareness both within and outside the golf world. In addition to creating the bulk of their print, television, and web content, Abrahams will also be responsible for cultivating KZG’s extensive media relationships on the local, national, and international fronts.

Abrahams comes to KZG after a storied career as a golf journalist. A former editor at Golf Magazine, he had a hand in shaping the magazine’s two most popular franchises, "Private Lessons" and "Clubtest." Since embarking on a solo career in 1994, Abrahams has written just about everything there is to write about the game, from instruction and equipment to features and travel. He has authored two books and written articles for Men’s Journal, Maxim, and Golf Magazine, including the cover story "Science in Golf," which earned him the 2001 ING Award for Instruction Writing. Most recently, he wrote about traveling to Los Angeles for Golf Connoisseur. Abrahams holds a bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.
