A true exotic stirs the passion for your soul. Your pulse races, adrenaline flows. Exotics golf equipment by Tour Edge is for those who demand the finest performing golf clubs in the world. They’re for golfers who want nothing less than the most powerful, accurate clubs that come from futuristic technology that is ahead of its time. Now Tour Edge is proud to introduce a new Exotics product, a driver.
Eagerly awaited Exotics Driver now available!
St. Charles , IL –All around the country, thousands of golfers have joined the Exotics cult. Not a religious cult, but a fan club of the Exotics fairway woods manufactured by Tour Edge Golf. These fans have fallen in love with the superior distance they are getting from their Exotics fairway wood. In fact, over the last year requests for the Exotics driver have been overflowing.
The wait is over. Now the power and performance of the popular Exotics fairway woods have been transferred to a driver. According to Tour Edge, the driver offers all of the unbridled power and breathtaking elegance Exotics fans have come to expect from their clubs but with even more power. States Jay Hubbard, director of marketing, "If you like the fairway wood, you’ll love the driver. The Exotics driver is a formidable technological marvel."
Taking advantage of the latest technology, the driver features a paper-thin, ultra-light crown that is 0.4 millimeters thin and weighs less than 15-grams. It is quite possibly the lightest crown in golf, including the latest in graphite crown technology. Constructed from 15-3-3-3 Beta Titanium, the crown allows more weight to be placed in the sole giving it a lower center of gravity, a higher moment of inertia (MOI), and exceptional forgiveness.
The crown is attached to the 6A4V titanium head through Exotics’ state-of-the-art chemical-bonding process called Combo-Brazing. Through this no-weld process, the crown and the body are blended together. The two parts are chemically treated, pressed together, and vacuum heat-cured for permanent bonding. The elimination of welding provides a deeper, lower center of gravity (c.g.) for unprecedented performance and a smooth, consistent feel.
Painstaking care was taken over the face technology. The uncompromising, SP700 forged Beta Titanium face puts out a staggering amount of power. Utilizing unheard of manufacturing tolerances, Tour Edge whittled down the opening between the face and body-frame to a mere .4 mm. This allows the face to be inserted and robotically laser-bonded. Laser-bonding eliminates weld material associated with traditional and plasma welding resulting in significantly improved rebound characteristics.
Each Exotics Driver features two precision-crafted, strategically-positioned, 6-gram tungsten screws. The placement of the fixed screws helps Tour Edge achieve what they believe is the perfect balance between forgiveness and power. The positioning of weight is crucial in creating the optimal CG angle (the angle between the leading edge and the club’s center of gravity). According to Hubbard, "this angle creates a higher moment of inertia and a more potent energy transfer resulting in unrivaled and exceptionally long drives. Mechanical tests using Iron-Byron at 95 miles per hour swing speed proved that this driver is one of the longest in the world and can pump out a remarkable amount of power."
