Winner of SAS Championship on Champions Tour Uses GAT Shafts in Irons
(SAN DIEGO, Calif.) – Four of the top six finishers at the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro used Graphite Design International ("GDI") shafts in their fairway woods and drivers, and the winner of the SAS Championship used GDI’s GAT shafts in his irons, according to the Darrell Survey.
The following GDI shafts were put into play by the top players at the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro: YS-6, YS-7, YS-9.1, Prototype, Tour AD M-65 and Purple Ice. On the Champions Tour, the SAS Championship winner used GDI’s GAT 115 iron shafts en route to his fourth victory of the season.
Known for their industry-leading combination of accuracy and distance, GDI shafts have helped the world’s best players amass over $52 million in earnings year-to-date.
