(LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 12, 2005) – Four PGA professionals received certificates of achievement for completing the Professional CLUBMAKERS’ Society (PCS) Clubmaking and Repair Skills Training Program. The eight-hour school conducted at Las Vegas PGA Show covered shop safety, the latest non-petroleum solvents used, shaft removal and installation, determining proper club length, grip sizing, loft and lie adjustments of irons and putters, and shop layout. The program is designed to help clubmakers and clubmakers with limited experience learn about the latest equipment and techniques used in the club repair business.
PCS Executive Technical Director Bob Dodds along with PCS Advanced Professional "Class A" Clubmakers Jerry Hoefling, Saginaw, MI and Les Moore, Apple Valley, CA conducted this class.
Receiving certificates were Perry Hallmeyer, La Purisima Golf Course, Cayucos, Calif.; Daniel Hee, Pearl City, Hawaii; Tim Krumnow, Las Vegas, Nevada; and Mark Sousa, Mid-Pacific Country Club, Lanakai, Hawaii.
