SkyGolf, makers of SkyCaddie GPS, are looking for candidates for a Mapping Technician open in the southern California area.
SkyGolf stands by its commitment to provide customers with the most up to date course information possible. This is why we send trained mappers to the course to make any necessary changes needed.
This is an independent contract position and is very suitable for a golf professional needing additional work but can schedule it to fit their other commitments.
We will provide: Full training & high precision GPS equipment, along with the list of courses that require work.
We will pay a course mapping fee which varies depending on the scale of work involved. We will pay some expenses only when travel beyond a certain radius is needed.
Qualified candidate will need:
- Strong knowledge of golf and utilizing course management skills to play golf.
- Should be in good physical health and be able to walk the full length of a golf course (sometimes as much as twice the length of a course) if a golf cart is not available.
- Should Possess moderate technical/computer skills
- Willing to travel from Northern Los Angeles to Mexican border.
