St. Charles, IL-Vulcan Golf, an industry leader in the design technology of hybrids, now has successfully taken on the challenge of producing the best hybrid transition woods in the game as they introduce the Sniper.
"It has been our goal for the 10 years we’ve been in business to make a difficult game a little more enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels and we believe the Sniper is a big step in that direction," said Vulcan Golf president and founder Gary Hansberger. "The design of these clubs will allow every golfer to think about going for the pin regardless of their lie."
The Sniper combines the best elements of both a fairway wood and a hybrid used to replace a long iron. The Sniper Hybrid Transition Woods are cast of a high strength 17-4 stainless steel with a super hard maraging steel face that will enhance distance. The lightweight carbon crown and heavy sole keep the center of gravity (COG) very low to optimize launch conditions.
The Sniper hits it longer and higher with an enhanced spin rate for improved action on landing. The club features a special shallow face profile and cambered sole edges to get the ball up quickly from even the toughest of lies.
The Sniper features an enhanced tip Aldila V-Tech Graphite shaft for impact stability and maximum carry. Shaft availabilities include Men’s regular, stiff and lite; ladies lite and ultralite.
The Sniper comes in lofts of 17, 20 and 23-degrees.
