Norcross, GA (October 20, 2005) – The 5th annual Sandy Chiu Caddy Scholarship Tournament is scheduled to take place October 24, 2005 at the highly acclaimed Golf Club at Cuscowilla, in Eatonton, Georgia. This year, nine deserving caddy scholars will be awarded scholarships worth a total of $36,000, bringing the total amount of caddy scholarship money raised and distributed in the five years of the tournament to an impressive $118,000.

The eligibility criteria for the scholarships is as follows; each applicant must be a full-time college student with a Grade Point Average of at least 2.5 and have caddied for Cuscowilla for at least six months. Once meeting the minimum requirements, the applicants are asked to write an essay discussing their experiences as a golf caddy at the Golf Club at Cuscowilla, and why they believe they are deserving of one of the caddy scholarships.
