Performance Program for Club and Mini Tour Players
Feel Golf Co. CEO, Lee Miller announced this week that the company is initiating for 2006 a performance reward program that extends beyond the PGA and LPGA Tour and allows sectional PGA and LPGA and "mini tours" players to earn extra money. This is making literally 100’s of players eligible for cash enhancements for their outstanding play and equipment use.
Feel Golf is offering up to 15% of a player’s official annual tournament winnings to their existing staff and inviting new sectional and mini tour players to join in. The bonus cap is $50,000 per year.
Feel Golf Co. has from the very beginning (1987) been reluctant to get into the "pay to play" game that has been embraced by the industry. Smaller companies simply can’t pay out the thousands and sometimes millions of dollars for players to use their equipment and subsequently increase their positions in the Darrell Survey. Of course, we know that this bogus method of "endorsing" equipment doesn’t mean a thing as it relates to player confidence in their equipment. Feel Golf players use our clubs because they know they are built by professionals, and the same club that is used on Tour is sold in stores and from our website to consumers," Miller said. "This is a way to pay back our longtime loyal and our new staff players for their support."
Always considered to be the "players clubs" by players of all levels worldwide, the increased status of Feel Golf products has been amplified by the recent worldwide disclosure and climbing success of their Full Releaseâ?¢ grip. "The sales figures and player’s acceptance is astounding for a new product entry. In just their first full year of selling the Game Improvement grip, some retailers are stating "We just can’t keep them in stock". Production has ramped up for the 2006 season since the word of mouth continues to validate improved player performance with a reported 88% customer satisfaction."
"Look, we all know the dirty little secret is that the clubs on the shelf are NOT the clubs we see the players use. That is NOT the case here at Feel Golf. We also know that just because you see a player wearing a logo on their hat or shirt doesn’t even mean that the player is using that brand of club. Companies pay players just to wear the logo, regardless of what they play. This is our way of showing respect to our players who use our equipment, with or without wearing our logo or brand," said Miller.
Feel Golf is owned by PGA and LPGA professionals and operates out their world headquarters in Monterey, California. More information can see on their website: www.feelwedges.com
