LPGA T&CP membership names 2005 sectional "Of the Year" Award winners

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 20, 2005 – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) membership has selected its annual section award winners for Teacher, Professional and Coach of the Year, as well as section officers for 2006. The LPGA T&CP membership’s five sections – Central, Midwest, Northeast, Southeast and West – annually select winners in each of the three categories, and the national award winners will be selected from that group.

The 2005 LPGA T&CP section award/election results are listed below.

Central

Vice President: Dawne Kortgaard, Grandote Peaks Golf Club, La Veta, Colo.

Treasurer: Deb Zamprelli, Perry Park Country Club, Lake Spur, Colo.

Teacher of the Year: Lana Ortega, McGetrick Golf Academy, Denver, Colo.

Midwest
