(Winston-Salem, NC)– Jay Haas continued his torrid pace on the Champions Tour last Sunday by winning his second title in the last three weeks. Haas captured The SBC Championship by shooting a final round 5-under par 66 at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio and beating PGA TOUR veteran Tom Purtzer by two strokes.
Two weeks ago, Haas won the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn held in North Carolina. The 52 year old resident of Greenville, SC has now won $744,653 in just nine starts on the Champions Tour and has banked $232,500 from sixteen PGA Tour entries. Just last May, the re-energized Haas announced his endorsement of the the FLUSH HIT DRIVER; the training club that improves driving accuracy. He was also been named the 2006 USGA Bobby Jones Award winner which is the organization’s highest honor given in recognition of distinguished sportsmanship.
The FLUSH HIT DRIVER was created to help golfers get the perfect delivery position every time they swing. The FLUSH HIT DRIVER is a regulation size driver giving the player immediate feed back where the ball is struck on the face of the club. When hit on the sweet spot, the FLUSH HIT DRIVER captures the ball in the center of the clubface. The club offers immediate feedback helping players of all ability to hit the ball square at impact thereby reducing sidespin caused by off center hits.
The Flush Hit Driver made its debut in May of this year and is available by calling 1-800-343-9754 or by visiting www.flushhitgolf.com The Flush Hit Driver will be available in retail stores early next year. It is available in men’s, women’s, and junior lengths.
