Most recent win gives Matrix 4 wins in 3 weeks since launch of Ozik
Matrix claimed another victory this weekend as PGA Tour rookie Charlie Wi captured the GS Caltex Masters on the Korean Tour October 23rd. The win came in Wi’s only start this year on the Korean Tour. For his championship, Wi earned an estimated $96,000. His best finish on the PGA Tour this year is T22nd at The Honda Classic. During his victory, Charlie Wi played Matrix Ozik in his TaylorMade R7 driver, the new Matrix MFS 75 in his 3-wood, and the Matrix HB-T in his hybrid.
"Charlie is a great player and a great ambassador for Matrix Shafts internationally," reported Daniel You, creator of the Matrix Ozik and COO of Matrix. "We have worked hard to give Charlie equipment he can be completely confident in. Obviously, with the way he has played with our shafts this year, we have found a good fit."
Matrix will be launching the Matrix Ozik franchise exclusively through Matrix Authorized Dealers across the world November 1. The Ozik is broken down into two series. The "Gold" series features the TP-7 and TP-7x, each with a suggested retail price of $1000. The "Silver" series includes the Altus, Medius, and Infra, each retailing at $400. The Matrix MFS 75 and the HB-T Hybrid are currently available through all Matrix Authorized Distributors and Dealers.
