SPRING LAKE, N.C. – Anderson Creek Golf Club has implemented a special passport program for area golfers. The program allows residents of Cumberland, Harnett, Lee, Moore and Wake counties to sign up for a complimentary Resident Passport Card, which provides significant discounts on every round of golf played through Dec. 31, 2006.
With the passport card, golfers receive an 18-hole round with cart for $29 from Monday through Thursday. That cost is $35 from Friday through Sunday. The cards provide a discount ranging from $11-$36 on weekdays, and a discount ranging from $15-$40 on weekends.
There is no charge for the passport cards. Golfers need only provide a valid ID for proof of residence, and a working e-mail address.
"We started this initiative to reward area golfers for coming to play Anderson Creek," said director of golf Jon Hockaday. "We want this to become their regular golf course."
To register for a Resident Passport Card, simply go by the golf shop at 125 Whispering Pines Drive in Spring Lake, or call Anderson Creek at (910) 814-2115.
