ORLANDO, FLORIDA – November 1, 2005 – Marriott Golf, one of the world’s largest resort golf management companies, today announced that Steve Schaller has been named Director of Golf at Seaview Marriott Golf Resort & Spa, a 36-hole facility in Galloway, New Jersey. In his new role, Schaller will oversee all golf operations, which include managing golf & grounds maintenance and golf shop operations, while leading the golf team at New Jersey’s premier golf resort.
Schaller, a 20-year veteran of Marriott International, and the recipient of Marriott Golf’s Professional of The Year Award in 1999, comes to Seaview Golf Resort having most recently served as the Director of Golf at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Country Club, a 27-hole property located in Rancho Mirage, California.
A Class "A" Member of the PGA of America, Schaller began his Marriott career as Head Golf Professional at Marriott’s Tan-Tar-A Resort & Golf Club in Osage Beach, MO, and has served as Director of Golf at some of Marriott’s premier properties including, Desert Springs Golf Resort & Spa (Palm Desert, CA), Westfields Golf Club (Clifton, VA) and Wind Watch Golf Club (Hauppauge, NY).
