St. Augustine, FL – Participants of The First Tee will join Champions Tour players, World Golf Hall of Fame member Carol Mann, and celebrities at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA for the third annual Invitational for The First Tee Nov. 6-9.
Twenty-seven young men and women from The First Tee Chapters of Atlanta, Augusta, East Lake, Savannah, and Columbia, SC will play 18-holes with sponsor teams on Monday on the Oconee Course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The 36-hole golf competition continues Tuesday with play on the Great Waters Course designed by Rees Jones.
A youth clinic will be hosted by Champions Tour players Allen Doyle and James Mason at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7. World Golf Hall of Fame member Carol Mann is scheduled to play, along with Armando Fitz and Terry Bradshaw of FitzBradshaw Racing.
Proceeds will benefit The First Tee in its mission to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

NBC golf commentator Jimmy Roberts will serve as host for the tournament. The Golf Channel will air a one-hour television highlights show produced by Kestrel Communications of Atlanta. The show, "Celebrating The First Tee," will be broadcast December 11 at 8:30 p.m., December 13 at 12 noon, and December 22 at 3 p.m.
