Orlando, FL- Guerin Rife is proud to announce that they captured a 2nd place finish this past weekend at The Chrysler Championship with their new Aussie blade putter. The 2nd Place Finisher’s final round of 67 put him alone in second place, just one shot behind the leader. Finishing the tournament No.1 in Putts Per Round with 27.5 and No.1 in Putts Per GIR with 1.674 earned him a paycheck of $572,400, which was his best finish on the PGA Tour this year.
The Tour player picked up the Aussie blade putter at the U.S. Bank championship in Milwaukee the week of July 28-31st. He finished T3rd for the tournament that week and in the Top Ten in putting average. At that time he was 36th on the money list. Since picking up the Rife Aussie blade putter, he’s moved to 17th on the Money List and is heading into THE TOUR Championship this weekend. The 2nd Place finisher was ranked 86th in putting average before making the switch. Thanks to some help from his new Aussie Blade, he’s currently ranked 21st going into the Tour Championship being held this weekend.
"The stats speak for themselves," said the 2nd Place Finisher. "Since I made the switch to the Guerin Rife Aussie Blade my putting has improved substantially. It’s a big part of why I’m able to compete this week in THETOUR Championship. Right nowI’m playing some of my best golf. Simply put…it’s a great putter."
The 2nd Place finisher hasn’t missed a cut since putting the Rife Aussie blade putter into play and has earned over $1,080,000 in the mere eight tournaments since making the switch.
"Each week we see our usage numbers on the Rife Two Bar and the new limited edition GR5 series going up." said Chief Operating Officer Matthew Molloy. Molloy adds, "Our current GR5 prototype line will be available to the public this spring in the form of the GR6 series, which will include a total of six new 303 soft stainless steel putters. We are certain they will grab a lot of attention at the retail level as they incorporate better feel, better performance, sleek classic designs, and yet will be offered at a more affordable price when compared to the other high-end fully CNC milled putters on the market."
About Guerin Rife Putters
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
