Largo, Florida (November 7, 2005) – Wesley Miller has been named head golf professional at Bardmoor Golf and Tennis Club in Largo, Fla.
With more than 13 years of experience in the golf industry, Miller will be responsible for Bardmoor’s golf operations and management including staffing, instruction, tournaments, merchandising and golf programs of the daily fee course.
Miller comes to Bardmoor from Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club where he was head golf professional for four years.
A multiple tournament winner in high school and college, Miller turned professional in 1998. He toured for three years winning several mini-tour events playing on tours such as the Hooters, Teardrop, and Moonlight Tours. He attended Carson-Newman College in Tennessee on a Golf and Academic Scholarship. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business and was captain of the NCAA golf team.
A three-time national racquetball champion, Miller was invited to train at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.to be on the U.S. Junior Racquetball team.
