GPS Industries Signs Deal With Fort Lewis Military Golf Course

NEW YORK, New York, November 9, 2005 – GPS Industries, Inc. (OTC BB:GPSN.OB – News), a leading innovator of Wi-Fi and GPS-enabled multimedia communications and management solutions for golf facilities, resorts, sporting events and residential communities is pleased to announce an agreement to install 64 of its award winning "Inforemer" 10.4" color units along with a total software management and Wi-Fi solution package at the Fort Lewis military base golf course in Fort Lewis, Washington.

Fort Lewis is the first military contract for GPS Industries, and Robert Silzer, Sr., President and CEO of GPSI says "We are pleased to get a foothold in this market, and have had discussions ongoing about the possibility of supplying more military courses in the near term. We are working towards becoming the exclusive supplier for the entire military golf establishment in the near to mid term."

Fort Lewis recently opened its golf course to the public, and according to Brent Silzer, President of Satellite Golf, distributor for GPSI: "This course has the perfect layout for the average mid to high handicapper. The military is the originator of GPS technology, and all branches of the service use GPS frequently in their everyday life, they are familiar and comfortable with this technology. Now they are beginning to realize the benefits of incorporating GPS and Wi-Fi into the recreational side of military life."

Terms of the $248,000 deal are that GPS Industries will fully equip the Fort Lewis golf course with cart mounted GPS units in the fall of 2005, as well as supply GPS Industries’ award winning management suite of software along with community-wide Wi-Fi Internet access.
