Albany, GA. – A MacGregor by Bobby Grace M6.4K-GT Series putter in the hands of this year’s 2005 PGA Tour Championship winner put the exclamation point on a truly remarkable season for Bobby Grace putters, including first place finishes at three of this season’s most prestigious events: the Tour Players Championship, the Memorial Tournament and the Tour Championship. Over the past two seasons, MacGregor putters designed by Bobby Grace have racked up 19 first place finishes and more than $38 million in Professional Tour winnings.

"MacGregor Bobby Grace putters are among the most popular on the Tour, in all cases without any sponsorship money in play," said Barry Schneider, Chairman and CEO of MacGregor Golf. "We’re thrilled to see our Bobby Grace putters assist talented PGA professionals win time and again. It validates in a pure way the superior technology and high MOI engineering of our Bobby Grace putters. We congratulate the winner of the 2005 Tour Championship for a dominating performance."

MacGregor produces a full line of Bobby Grace putters including the GT Series, GT MINI, The Fat Lady Swings, and M-Series putters. All GT Series putters are milled from a single block of 60-61 aircraft grade aluminum and utilize a deep CG design with 150 grams of strategically-placed copper weights for an exceptionally high MOI (which produces a high resistance to twisting). The GT Series putters employ an elongated trapezoidal head shape with an engraved centerline and dual silver bands serving as alignment aids in squaring the club face, while its annealed Beryllium Copper face insert provides for truly amazing feel and feedback.

"As the season draws to a close, we want to say thanks to all the players who have placed their confidence in MacGregor golf equipment," said Schneider. "At MacGregor, we’re committed to producing truly superior equipment for golfers at all levels, and Tour play is one of the many ways we seek to continually improve our designs, technology and performance."
