About Turner Valley Golf & Country Club
Turner Valley is the site of the first oil discovery in Alberta. The course dates back to 1930 and was created by employees of Royalite Oil, the company responsible for developing the local oil reserves. Originally, Turner valley was a school 9 hole course with sand greens. Turner Valley’s clubhouse was one the town’s high, but is now an excellent place to enjoy heartwarming meals. Today it’s a mature 18 hole course with contoured bentgrass greens and plenty of water and sand in play. Groves of mature willow trees add interest and difficulty making this a course where ball control is mandatory. Head Professional/General Manager, Steve Moe feels that the software will provide a complete solution for our Board and over 500 members.
