On "Everything About Golf," De La Cruz will discuss various facets of his career based on his profound knowledge of golf club design and his thirty-year history in the industry. He plans to reminisce about people he has known and experiences he has had in the golf business, and to share his ideas about where the industry is headed.
"I look forward to sharing all of the things I have experienced in the golf business since I started in 1974, and introducing readers to ideas both old and new," said De La Cruz. "This will be a place for people to read golf lore they may never have seen before."
In addition to having founded DeLaCruz Golf, Dick De La Cruz has worked as a golf club designer with other luminaries in the industry. From 1985-88 he was vice president of the Callaway Golf Co., where he and Eli Callaway worked very closely together. He was an independent golf club designer for a time, and from 1995-2000 was the CEO and vice chairman of Goldwin Golf USA, followed by two years as director of new product development for Orlimar Golf. In his "blog," De La Cruz will discuss not only his past experiences but also his hopes and vision for the future of golf.
