ORLANDO, Fla. (November 17, 2005) – eCoaching Technology, a leading sports video distance learning company, has been selected for use by Tom Patri at the Naples Health Club in Naples, Fla., and at the Lely Golf Club in Naples. Patri, a Golf Magazine Top-100 teacher, is director of instruction at both facilities.
"eCoaching allows me to stay in touch with my students twenty-four/seven, three hundred sixty-five days a year," Patri said. "It’s that non-stop communication element that is so appealing and important. It’s hard for golfers to retain all the information after they leave a lesson, and eCoaching Technology makes it possible. My students seem to love having this option in their possession."
eCoaching Technology recently introduced its new ‘Customer for Life’ golf program, a Web-based solution designed to facilitate and enhance teaching, learning and performance. Highlights of the program include video instruction, performance e-journaling, tip & drill libraries and state-of-the-art, ongoing long-term communication between instructor and student. With the initiation of its ‘Customer for Life’ program, eCoaching Technology now implements a true distance learning capability for golf instructors
"We are delighted to have the Health Club of Naples as a user of our program," said Marc Matoza, cofounder of eCoaching Technology. "It is exciting for golfers, with their ever-increasing travel schedules, to be able to maintain one-on-one relationships with their instructors from any location in the world, with immediate feedback.
eCoaching Technology and its ‘Customer for Life’ program recently were selected for use by the PGA TOUR Golf Academy at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla. They also are in use by Brad Brewer at the Brad Brewer Golf Academy at Shingle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Fla., and by Mike Malaska at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in Superstition Mountain, Ariz.
With the ‘Customer for Life’ program, golfers, by accessing their data from a home computer over the Internet, receive the attention and direction they desire to meet their needs and improve their performance, while maintaining ongoing relationships with their instructors. By the same token, instructors using eCoaching Technology’s ‘Customer for Life’ program find especially valuable the ability to review a golfer’s lesson history, prescribe drills and training exercises, keep an eJournal calendar, and communicate effectively and efficiently with students throughout the year. Instructors also can enhance their branding and marketing efforts with the program, by customizing the look and feel of their distance-learning interaction with students via the inclusion of specialized logos, colors and other promotional tools.
eCoaching Technology, begun in 2004, is a comprehensive system for instructors and coaches which is establishing itself as the leader in online athletic performance enhancement.
