Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute announced today the 2006 schedule for its popular training schools, including the new True Temper® "Gold Certified" Shaft Performance Fitting School. The schedule has been expanded to handle a larger enrollment during the winter months.
Mike Stevens, Director of Sales & Marketing for Mitchell® Golf states, "Our schools at Orange County National Golf Center in Orlando, Florida have created a greater interest among industry professionals because it is a perfect winter destination. We have increased the number of school dates for both the Club Repair Technician & Club Performance Fitting Schools to accommodate this demand."
The new True Temper® "Gold Certified" Shaft Performance Fitting School is an extensive 3-day school highlighting True Temper’s "gold" product designs, manufacturing philosophy, the frequency tuning process, and hands on building of frequency tuned clubs. Each graduate of this school will pass a written exam, which places a greater importance on those industry professionals becoming "Gold Certified"
Shaft Performance Fitting Specialists.
"We are excited about joining forces with True Temper Sports® to offer a new "Gold Certified" Shaft Performance Fitting School for their new Black Gold® shaft," Mike also states. "Frequency matching of shafts has been the standard method for identifying a specific flex across a set of irons for years. A renewed interest will be placed on fitting the optimum shot trajectory through frequency with True Temper’s new Black Gold® shaft."
Students receive a Certificate of Completion for each school they attend. Graduates of all three Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute schools will receive a special "Master Club Performance Specialist" certificate recognizing their accomplishment and enhancement of their professional skills.
Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute is an industry leader in club fitting and repair training. All schools are taught at its state-of-the-art Club Repair Lab located in the Studio Building on the world-renowned 42-acre circular range at Orange County National Golf Center.
