Easier navigation, more regional and national golf coverage and expanded interactive features are the centerpieces of the "new" GolfersGuide.com, the online arm of Golfer’s Guide Magazine, which launched Thursday.
Still featuring more than 1,000 golf courses in dozens of golf destinations across the country, GolfersGuide.com is poised to become the leading golf portal in the industry. The site, which has been among the most popular golf-dedicated sites since it first launched nearly 10 years ago, serves as the perfect complement to Golfer’s Guide, North America’s Most Read Golf Publication serving more than 14 million avid golfers.

Those two sites are currently undergoing their own renovations and are expected to re-launch in the coming months as part of Golfer’s Guide’s overall internet program.

The interactivity of the site allows visitors to do their own research by linking them to specific regions that contain dozens of courses with photos, pertinent information, and links to the courses’ Web sites for more information. The front page of GolfersGuide.com will also treat visitors to the latest news on the hottest new clubs and golf accessories (In the Bag), tidbits on the latest trends in the game and other golf-related news and features. Many of the site’s features and stories are fueled by the Golfer’s Guide Player’s Club Newsletter, a complimentary online newsletter that currently goes out to 25,000 subscribers weekly and also includes analysis, editorial opinions, and your feedback on "everything" golf.
