Paul V. Ciminelli, President and co-founder of American Range Company has been selected for promotion to the rank Colonel in the United States Army Reserve. The Human Resources Command of the United States Army announced the results of a promotion selection board naming Lieutenant Colonel Paul V. Ciminelli as a selectee for elevation to the rank of Colonel. Paul Ciminelli was mobilized to active duty for eighteen months in June 2005 and is currently deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and throughout United States Central Command.
Paul is in his twenty-fourth year of active and reserve status in the United States Army. This is Paul’s third major deployment starting with Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in 1991 where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the team he led was a awarded the Valorous Unit Citation for there service. In 1996 Paul spent most of the year on active duty in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the US led NATO Operation Joint Endeavor. Throughout his career he has served in numerous command and staff positions in the United States and abroad. Currently he is serving as an advisory role on issues relating to United States interagency and multinational operations in the Global War on Terror.
