Stockton, Calif. – The A.G. Spanos Golf Tour, presented by Ameriquest, today announced its 2006 schedule. One of the leading developmental golf tours in country, the Spanos Tour will commence in February and has 16 events scheduled throughout California. The tour concludes in August with the Tour Championship, according to Barry Ruhl, executive director of the A.G. Spanos Tour.

Jason Gore, who finished 21st on Spanos Tour money list, went on to win three consecutive Nationwide events as well as a PGA Tournament. Peter Tomasula, a member of the Cal Berkeley national champions, won a Nationwide event and Steve Schneider finished 45th at the PGA Championship while representing PGA Club Professionals. Other members, John Mallinger and John Merrick, had a successful summer playing the Nationwide Tour. Both made several cuts and finished in the top 100 money list for that tour.
