Canadian Professor of Kinesiology Proves That Explanar Has a Positive Effect
Northampton, England—An independent report released by Dr. Chris Bertram, Professor of Kinesiology and Director of the Human Performance Laboratory at University College of the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, Canada confirmed that the Explanar Swing Training System "positively and significantly impacts the golf swing."
There are four key components to the Explanar. The Explanar itself, which is multi adjustable and set to a golfer’s biomechanical optimum swing plane. The Plane Finâ?¢, this is a fin that is located at the top of the Explanar. It provides a reference point for the top of the backswing and follow thru to determine if your swing is still on plane. The third is the Power Rollerâ?¢. It is a four-pound weighted roller that is not attached to the Explanar, but rolls and slides around the Explanar, stretching the muscles and training the golfer within their ideal plane. The fourth key component is the Radial Stance Matâ?¢. This helps the instructor teach and the golfer learn, how to draw and fade the ball.
The report stated in part, "As a training tool, Explanar is truly unique in its ability to allow the golfer to gain the kinesthetic sense of what proper swing mechanics should feel like as opposed to other popular training aids which rely heavily on providing feedback in abstract intellectual terms, or merely pointing out swing flaws. By allowing the performer to experience first hand the proper swing plane and its associated biomechanics, Explanar serves to expedite the nervous system’s transformation of swing thoughts into real measurable improvements in the golf swing."
The report was well received at Explanar headquarters.
"Dr. Bertram’s independent findings are a vindication not only of our belief in Explanar," said Explanar managing director Tony Clark, "but also the choice of the PGA professionals around the world to incorporate Explanar in their teaching curriculum and of the amateurs that have purchased the Home System and seen such dramatic and positive improvements in their own game."
