Revolutionary Vulcan "PowerBall V14" to Launch at 2006 PGA Show in Orlando, Florida in January
St. Charles, IL, December 20, 2005 — Vulcan Golf (www.vulcangolf.com) today announced the pre-launch of its PowerBall V14 Driver that incorporates a new patent pending Variable Mass Technology that acts like an air traffic control system for ball flight. The 430cc body is crafted using a new seamless Vacuum Cast Titanium 2-piece, "pull-face" construction for strength and weight reduction. The face is Forged SP700 Beta Titanium with a very hot and barely legal COR. The PowerBalls patent pending weight system introduces a dimension never before found in golf driver technology.
The weighting system features two channels around the perimeter of the head (bearing housings), that hold weighted 2g stainless ball bearings or black .2g Nylon Spacer Pearls (14 of each come with the club) that can be configured in any combination to improve any golfers distance, accuracy, launch angle and spin rate. The Club kit also comes with two 2g Titanium Screws and two 4g Stainless Steel screws so head weight may be altered from 183g to about 220g. The Pearls and Bearings may be positioned anywhere (toe, heel, front, back) to best place weight and center mass to tune your ball flight pattern. The system acts like an Air Traffic Control System to help the golfers ball flight.
