Zilla II named Golf Product of the Year

Calgary, AB – January 16, 2005 — Sundog Eyewear announces the addition of 2 styles to their Pro Signature Series.

The new additions are the Zilla II and Weir Golf styles. The Sundog Pro Signature Series also includes the H-Drive, introduced in 2005 and worn by PGA Tour Pro Hunter Mahan. The entire Sundog Golf collection can be seen at the 2006 PGA Show in booth # 7635.

Following the successful sales of the original Zilla style, Jason Zuback, four-time world long drive champion, worked with Sundog on his new metal frame style. The Zilla II retails at $60.

SCORE Golf magazine recently awarded the Zilla II with its highest honor as Golf Product of the Year. Rick Young of SCORE Golf writes, "Inspired by Canada’s very own long driver authority Jason Zuback, the Zilla II line combines the fashion forward look golfer’s demand with the quality and craftsmanship of lightweight high quality Monel frames and high contrast lens tints. Add a very cool ‘Z’ temple design to an extremely affordable mid price point and you have only one reason why Sundog is a dominant global force in golf eyewear."

The Weir Golf Signature style was designed with input from Master’s Champion Mike Weir. It incorporates Sundog Cristec Polarized lens technology for superior clarity, usually found in much more expensive polarized products. The Weir Golf Signature style retails at $100.

Mike Boyles, V.P. International Sales for Sundog Eyewear states, "We are proud to be associated with world-class tour players that represent Sundog Eyewear’s commitment to genuine performance."

Sundog Eyewear is now one of the largest distributors of sunglasses in golf and other sports markets, with over 6000 golf accounts in 51 countries worldwide. Sundog eyewear is also the official sunglass of The Open Championship 2002-2005, and is the official recommended eyewear of the European PGA.
