SANTA MONICA, CA (Jan 6, 2006) — TOTAL GOLF ADVENTURES (TGA), a national Golf Program and the only at-school, after school, golf enrichment program in the country announced today the company has signed two more licensed territories – Sacramento, CA and Northeast, OH – to be owned and run by Jeff Pope and Jamie Koehler, respectively.
"Both Jeff and Jamie bring varied but extensive golf experience to TGA," said Joshua Jacobs, Owner/Director of TGA. "Their individual commitment to growing the game and many years teaching junior golfers perfectly dovetails with the TGA mission."
Jeff Pope, owner of TGA of Sacramento, has been a PGA Member since 2001 and has over ten years experience teaching junior golf. He was responsible for launching, "Hook A Kid on Golf," the first jr. golf program in Pennsylvania. Jeff has served as club Head Golf Professional, Director of Golf, & General Manager. He holds a B.S. in Recreation & Leisure Management and a M.S. in Management & Leadership from East Stroudburg University.
Jamie Koehler, owner of TGA of Northeast, OH, is a USGTF certified instructor who has been teaching for 11 years and has extensive experience with junior golfers. He currently owns and operates a Par 3 Golf Course and Driving Range.
TGA’s program, available for children in grades K-8, extends beyond learning the game of golf and honing the golf swing. A child’s passion for the game of golf grows with a program that expands and improves their motor skills and coordination, encourages their advancement, and builds their confidence and self-esteem.
