January 3, 2006 (Denver)- Izod G is bigger and better this year, and will make its second appearance at the PGA show in Orlando, January 26-29, 2006. On Friday, January 27, Izod G will host the PGA show’s hottest party for over 2,500 PGA show invitees at the Hard Rock Café Live with a performance by renowned rock band The Black Crowes.
To help attendees "chill out" during the show, Izod will be serving "G-Chill" smoothies in the morning, and beer in the afternoon at booth number 13037.
Izod G is continuing to lead the pack in technological fabrics with 12 new styles in the G-Chill classification, which is made of lightweight 100% polyester. The G-Chill line features a G-Fresh antibacterial finish. The Izod G designers have also added a tissue-weight cotton and a cotton/spandex seersucker as well as a polyester/spandex wicking undershort to the Skorts.
Izod G’s new line is its finest to date and will be showcased in a huge, 50’x50′ booth. The line includes the classic favorite solid basic piques for men and women in a range of colors. Some hot new colors have been added to the line this year. Aloe, Hot Tamale and Baltic are new men’s colors, Petunia and Spearmint are new to the women’s line.
The focus of Izod G’s new line is Performance and how one feels when wearing the clothes. The fashion groups have names such as Alive, Inspired, Passionate and Confident. Izod G’s basic polos are named In Motion for the men and the Fresh for the women.

Other exciting additions to the Izod G men’s line are two silk print campshirts and a madras plaid short. New to our line is 5 color in the tissue cotton tee, engineered chest stripe polos, and space dye sweaters and polos. The women’s Bermuda short is being offered in 7 new colors along with engineered chest stripe polos, and space dye sweaters and polos.
In 2003, Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation partnered with Tehama, the high-end contemporary sportswear brand started by acting legend Clint Eastwood and fashion industry veteran Nancy Haley, to design and market a new line of fashion-forward performance sportswear.
