SAN DIEGO — The preferred grip supplier for professional golfers worldwide, Lamkin will display the newest innovations in golf grip technology at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show & Convention, January 26-29, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Among the Show’s highlights will be the all-new Dual Density Torsion Control grips that combine an all-new stabilizing, torque-reduction design, Lamkin’s revolutionary base layer and a patented Laser-Tacâ?¢ surface. Lamkin will be located in booth #5101.

"The PGA Merchandise Show is the biggest event of the year to showcase the newest and best in golf equipment," says Bob Lamkin, president and CEO of Lamkin Corporation. "The Dual Density Torsion Control is a whole new level of performance and technology that has never been seen, nor felt, in a golf grip, and we’re inviting all industry professionals, PGA pros, retailers, clubmakers and golfers at this year’s Show to visit our booth and personally feel the cutting-edge innovation in these new grips firsthand."

The Dual Density Torsion Control grip incorporates 20 separate, innovative stabilizing bars to reduce torque and increase club control. In addition to the torque reduction, Lamkin’s patented Laser-Tacâ?¢ surface technology enhances traction, feel and performance in all playing conditions by means of a ‘moisture channeling’ pattern similar to those found on high-performance all-terrain tires. The Dual Density Torsion Control grip’s softer outer layer is strategically injected around the sculpted contours of the base layer to create a seamless transition from the firmer base and to provide extreme vibration dampening. Together, the unique design and surface technology allow for consistent hand pressure throughout the swing that allows a golfer to generate more distance and accuracy.

The 2006 PGA Merchandise Show & Convention will host approximately 45,000 PGA professionals, retailers and industry leaders to preview the products and services of more than 1,200 golf-related exhibitors within 500,000 net square feet of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

Lamkin has been the chosen grip supplier for nearly every major golf club manufacturer worldwide. From the new Dual-Density Crossline to the Perma-Wrap Classic and original Crossline, every Lamkin features the technical innovation and exacting performance standards that have set the industry standard for more than 80 years.
