Irwindale, CA—Aureus Sportswear, a longtime leader in the golf apparel industry announced that they will be introducing three new products at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL, Jan. 26-29 at the Orange County Convention Center.
The company is extremely confident in the future success of their new ladies reversible vest.
"We feel that this reversible vest will be an immediate hugely successful item for our customers," said Aureus and Winner Mate Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Geoff Stiles. "The vest features a quilted micro fiber on one side and fleece on the other. It is definitely an attractive design that has an equally attractive price tag of $25.00. The vest comes in black, ivory, pink and light blue."
Stiles also sees a strong future for the new Aureus zip off sleeve jacket.
"This is an incredibly versatile piece," he said. "It can be worn as either a full jacket, or a as a vest. Either way it will be a very attractive and very functional as a piece of golf apparel. There is ample room built in for golfers of just about every size and shape. Golfers wearing this piece can be confident that they will be able to take an unrestricted swing at any time."
The zip off sleeve jacket has a 100 percent micro fiber shell with a floating mesh lining. Unlike other micro fiber jackets on the market which use smooth materials, Aureus uses a proprietary textured fabric that has a slight iridescence. The jacket has hidden side storage pockets for the sleeves when removed – a feature unique to Aureus zip off jackets. Colors include white, black, tournament blue, lemoncello, pumpkin and rio red. Sizes range from small to XXXL and it carries a MSRP of $69.95.
Stiles also said that Aureus will be introducing an updated version of a past product that was very successful in certain sections of the country.
"In the past we’ve had a product that we sold in the desert and tropical areas of the country," he explained. "It used a very open mesh knit and was successful because it was very cool. We have updated the look using 100 percent double mercerized fabric that uses a micro-mesh knit to achieve the same effect. It actually stretches without having any Lycra in the knit. While this new shirt will have tremendous appeal to the technical "moisture wicking" customer, it will be a 100 percent cotton product and in keeping with the market price with a MSRP of $59.95.
"We feel these three products will further our desire to provide apparel of quality, innovation and value," added Stiles.
Exhibiting at Booth No. 14232, the staff of Aureus will also be looking to meet with PGA professionals, media and potential sales representatives.
