LEAWOOD, KANSAS (January 16, 2006) – Accu-Length, which has achieved growing sales and attention with its one-of-a-kind spacer system that lets a child grow with his or her golf clubs, is continuing to get a grip on the junior golf market by introducing its new Accu-Length Junior Golf Gloves and other exciting new products. All of Accu-Length’s products can be seen at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando from January 26-29 at Booth No. 2935.
At last year’s PGA Merchandise Show, Accu-Length’s Expandable Junior Golf Clubs were named Best New Equipment Product.
"Accu-Length’s new line of products for 2006 were carefully developed after thoroughly studying the wants and needs of junior golfers as well as the needs of our retail partners," says Rick Rutter, President, COO and Founder of OnTrack Sports, LLC, makers of Accu-Length, the only Expandable Junior Golf Clubs. "Consumers want golf products that will last and that help them play better golf at an affordable price Accu-Length does that. Retailers want products that have superior margins, are well merchandised, and that move out of their stores. Accu-Length products provide all three."
The Junior Golf Glove is made from a combination of fine Cabretta leather and strategically-placed synthetics. Juniors immediately receive the benefits of Hydrolyte Digitized microfiber synthetic that enhances grip strength by up to 40 percent. Microfiber spandex inserts at the knuckles and fingers customize the fit to the contours of the golfer’s hand. Longevity is enhanced by reinforced Cabretta leather that’s placed at key areas. Digitized palm material wraps around the index finger for added comfort when gripping the club.
The glove, which is white Cabretta leather, comes in three sizes (small, medium and large) and are color-coded to match Accu-Length’s top selling setsAL1000 (yellow), AL2000 (red) and AL3000 (gray) sets. The MSRP is only $8, but purchasers receive a $10 retail coupon good toward the purchase of any of Accu-Length’s four starter sets, and a $5.00 coupon toward the purchase of the new 250cc Driver All three gloves can be merchandised out of the NEW, 250 cc driver display rack.
Accu-Length’s new 250cc driver is another solid addition to the product line. The stainless steel head’s large sweet spot, combined with a 11-degree loft and 54-degree lie, makes it ideal for junior golfers looking to hit the long ball. The driver is only available in the longer length series’–AL2000 Series for golfers 51 to 59 inches tall and the AL3000 Series for golfers 55 to 62 inches tall. The Accu-Length 250cc driver has the same custom fit and expandable shaft technology that’s the trademark of all Accu-Length shafts. It’s available in both right-hand and left-hand models. MSRP is $69.99.
Drive may be for show, and putt is for dough, as the often-cited golf axiom goes, and Accu-Length is right on the money with junior golfers with its new SS stainless steel putters. The putters, the company’s next generation of flat sticks, are available in the company’s four starter sets, including the AL500 Series for children 39 to 47 inches tall and the AL1000 Series for juniors 45 to 55 inches tall. The mallet-style putter is very easy for juniors to use and putt accurately. MSRP is $39.99.
Accu-Length completes its new line of products by solving the problem left-handed junior golfers have with finding clubs by introducing left-handed starter sets, as well as individual left-handed 14 degree drivers and left-handed 5-irons. The 5-iron comes in 30 degrees in the AL1000 Series and 28 degrees in the AL2000 and AL3000 series. The MSRP of the AL500 Series is $139.99, while the AL1000, AL2000 and AL3000 series are $199.99. The driver has an MSRP of $49.99 while the 5-iron’s MSRP is $39.99.

"By having a complete line of products for young golfers of all heights, including our new introductions, Accu-Length is continuing to show that we’re the company junior golfers – and their parents — should go to when they’re seeking the best clubs for their game and ability," says Rutter. "We believe in junior golf and are totally devoted to making golf a lifetime experience for all beginning and up-and-coming players. That’s reflected in the quality of our products and in our product selection."
Accu-Length is the only expandable junior golf club on the market. A one-of-a-kind spacer system allows Accu-Length to grow with the junior golfer without any sacrifice to the product’s quality.
