Golf industry veteran Dave Triptow Jr. hired to lead efforts
SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – Datrek Miller International, Inc (DMI), a leading supplier of products and value-added services to the golf industry, (OTC Bulletin Board: DMLL.OB) has announced the creation of a new division to service corporate accounts, international distributors, and its OEM opportunities, announced Chief Executive Officer Michael Hedge. Dave Triptow Jr. has joined DMI as vice president in charge of the new Premium/International Division.
"DMI’s strategy is to service multiple distribution channels with a wide selection of products and services offering multiple brands that are recognized within the channel they are offered," said Hedge. "In an effort to maximize our growth potential within these specific areas, we decided to place greater emphasis on the premium/corporate channel, international distribution, and the company’s potential OEM opportunities. Dave’s past experience uniquely qualified him to lead these three market segments in this division."
The Premium/International Division complements the company’s existing sales divisions that service on-course golf facilities and off-course retailers as well as special events such as golf tournaments. DMI already services over 6,000 points of sale and aims to grow that number significantly.
"The chance to lead a division for a company with as much growth potential as DMI is an exciting opportunity for me," said Triptow. "This is a natural extension for the company because we already have a great base of products that are in demand in both the premium and international markets."
Triptow is acknowledged by many industry peers as being very innovative with new products and programs in the golf industry. Prior to joining DMI, he held senior positions with Callaway Golf, Ogio International, and Pro-Line Pacific.
