Orlando, FL – Rife Putters new GR6 Series Aussie Blade putter captured a 2nd Place Finish on the PGA Tour this past weekend at The Sony Open, held at Waialae Country Club in Hawaii. This marks the Tour Pro’s second straight 2nd Place Finish in the last two full field events on the PGA Tour. He finished 2nd at The Chrysler Championship, 1st in Putts per round and putts per green in regulation and finished 3rd in putts per round this past weekend in Hawaii.
Currently sitting 5th on the PGA Tour Money List with $448,800, he is looking forward to a big year with the new GR6 Series Aussie putter in the bag. "The stats speak for themselves. Since using the Guerin Rife Aussie Blade my putting has improved substantially and it is a big reason I’m playing some of my best golf. It is a simply a great putter," said Campbell.
Many Tour Players have had similar results with the RollGroove Technology that the Rife putters offers. Dana Quigley, The 2005 Champions Tour Player Of The Year, finished 1st on The Money Leaders List 2nd on The Charles Schwab Cup Points List with his Guerin Rife Two Bar putter in hand last season.
"Every week we see our usage numbers on the Rife Two Bar and new GR6 Series putters gaining more acceptance and success on the major tours", said Rife Putters COO, Matt Molloy. "The new GR6 Series is being introduced at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida later this month and will be available to the public early this spring. We are certain they will grab a lot of attention at the retail level as they incorporate the same revolutionary technology that fueled the success of the Two-Bar putter on Tour in 2005 but with a more classic design. The result is a 100% CNC Milled line of putters in a class all its own."
The new GR6 Series will be on display in Meeting Room 306A at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show.
About Rife Putters
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
