Nickent Golf scored three Top 10 finishes at the Sony Open in Hawaii, all three with their new 3DX DC Ironwood. Players using the Nickent hybrid finished 2nd, 4th and 7th in the event, giving this brand new club its 4th Top 10 of the very young 2006 PGA Tour season. Four of the top 20 players on the official PGA Tour money list are currently using 3DX.
ESPN gave Nickent an on-air mention after the 7th ranked player in the world put the club into play after only a few days of testing. The 3DX was the # 2 most played hybrid at the Sony Open.
