Austin, TX– The Austin based technology company, known as SmartSwing, is looking forward to the debut of its new product, the DS300, at the end of this month. Their new, comprehensive golf club will be available just in time for golf season. The official release of the DS300 will take place at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show & Convention from January 26th through the 29th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Place your order immediately- this product is an ideal tool for any golfer attempting to perfect his game.
The DS300 shares the same functionality as SmartSwing’s existing product, the LS300, and is a more affordable alternative. This club is regularly priced at $449, but will be available for a limited time only at a show special of $399.
Dick Eyestone, CEO and founder of SmartSwing, maintains that, "While sales of the existing product line are solid, we believe there is an untapped market of golfers who want a powerful teaching aide at a competitive price." He is also excited by the fact that this new product will be offered worldwide, not just in the US and the UK.
Circuitry embedded in the shaft of the LS300 or DS300 collects information and records the position of your club as you swing. The collected data is stored in flash memory and is easily downloaded to your PC at a later time. SmartSwing Software enables you to observe your swing in 3-D and to critically analyze your routine. The connection between the DS300 and your PC is through a USB cable, making it a less expensive option, while the connection between the LS300 and your PC is wireless. The LS300 will, however, be compatible with future wireless upgrades, coming soon.
These products are available in SmartSwing’s drivers, fairway woods, and irons, or you may custom fit any club you choose.
SmartSwing will be located in the Teaching and Training Aids section of the Show floor, in booth number 2546. Stop by to learn more and to see firsthand, the success you will find in implementing this valuable training aide. Also, take advantage of this opportunity to find out what is yet to come in the future of SmartSwing.
The 2006 PGA Merchandise Show & Convention is organized in partnership with The PGA of America. More than 45,000 PGA Professionals, retailers, and industry leaders will be in attendance to preview the products and services of over 1,200 golf-related exhibitors.
