Weekly Ticket Books Still Available Online and by Phone, Remaining Daily Tickets Back on Sale March 2nd
CHARLOTTE N.C., January 18, 2006 -Corporate Hospitality packages that provide patrons access to upscale tent venues at Quail Hollow Club are sold out for the 2006 edition of the Wachovia Championship, May 1-7.
These sold out packages, designed for client entertaining or a more intimate spectator experience include Marquees, Dining Chalets, Villas, Executive Club, the Event Lawn, and the Champions Club.
Options to attend one of the PGA TOUR’s premier events are available. However, the demand for all avenues to attend the fourth annual event is ahead of previous years. Patrons who have attended the Wachovia Championship the past three years have eagerly used the renewal opportunity given them to purchase any of the ticket options available.
Remaining ticket options include weekly ticket books, which are on sale now for $130 each. Weekly ticket books provide admission to all seven days of Championship Week (one ticket per day). Weekly ticket books allow family members, friends and business associates to share the cost because the same person does not have to use all of the tickets.
Also, beginning March 2, remaining Daily Tickets and Practice Pack options will be available. The Monday-Wednesday Practice Pack is $25 for a convenient three-day package. Daily Tickets will be $30 each for Thursday and Friday and $40 each for Saturday and Sunday.
Area sports fans wishing to see one of the strongest fields assembled on one of the game’s toughest courses should act quickly.
"We are seeing another year of high demand for all of our ticket options which is a testament to the enthusiasm the people of Charlotte and the surrounding area have towards our event," Wachovia Championship Tournament Director Kym Hougham said.
Tickets may be purchased online by visiting www.wachoviachampionship.com or by calling (800) 945-0777 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST Monday-Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST Saturdays).
