CHESTERFIELD, VA. – January 26, 2006 – Jesse Moussa, Camp Moose Golf Vice President, announced today that the company is prepared to launch their new training aid, The Right Touch, at the upcoming PGA Show in Orlando, Florida.
Taking the right path in life is often the way to success. Taking the right path in golf is also the way to success, in the form of lower scores and more playing enjoyment. The Right Touch a new instructional aid teaches golfers how to take the right path by learning how to keep their swing on the proper – or right – swing path. In doing so, it effectively cures a golfer’s greatest malady: The Slice.
The Right Touch is a discreet training aid that attaches to a belt or waistband of a golfer and promotes the correct swing path and posture. Unlike other training aids that can be awkward and embarrassing on the driving range, The Right Touch is inconspicuous and small. When the hips are in the correct address position, the probe will be pointing down. If not, it will levitate and block the arms on the takeaway. The result is an indelible and permanent imprint in the golfer’s mind of how the proper swing should feel.
"The Right Touch supports an inside path which utilizes the body for power," says Jesse Moussa, Vice President of Camp Moose Golf and the inventor of The Right Touch. "At takeaway the arms miss the probe for a correct back swing path and on the downswing or decent the right forearm is required to hit the probe for the correct inside path. This correct path maximizes the potential for every shot and helps eliminate the slice."
The Right Touch assists the golfer with weight transfer. It helps the golfer load the right side and stop the reverse pivot.
The Right Touch reinforces a good foundation or posture for optimum rotation,
balance, and power. The Right Touch has already gained credence with several of the leading golf instructors in the country. It is endorsed by Fred Griffin, Director of the Grand Cypress Academy of Golf in Orlando, FL., and Mike Adams, AKA "The Swing Doctor", who operates his own academy at the Polo & Golf Club in West Palm Beach, FL. Griffin and Adams are both Golf Digest Top 50 instructors, while Griffin is also a Golf Magazine Top 100 instructor.
"Having Fred Griffin and Mike Adams endorse The Right Touch speaks volumes for the credibility of our product," says Scott Camp, President of Camp Moose Golf. "We expect The Right Touch will quickly become one of the most popular and in-demand training aids on the market." Camp Moose Golf will launch a national television and print campaign this spring to support The Right Touch’s introduction.
The Right Touch includes a velvet carrying pouch with logo and an instructional DVD presented by Fred Griffin and Mike Adams. It will begin shipping this spring. The MSRP is $49.99. Camp Moose Golf’s products, including Who’s Up? and The Right Touch, will be on display at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fl. from January 26-29 at Booth No. 3439 in the Orange County Convention Center.
