Mitchell® Golf Equipment Company will demonstrate its new putting studio on Putting Green #1 during the PGA Demo Day January 25th at Orange County National Golf Center. The Mitchell® Putting Studio is a portable dual camera computerized system that is both a fitting and teaching tool. Putter fitting and teaching is very important considering putting is usually more than 40% of most golfers’ scores.
The Mitchell® Putting Studio Fitting Module software offers the latest technology for dynamically fitting putters. It consists of a dual camera computerized system that can be used on any putting surface including outdoor putting greens for the real putting experience. The software provides video replay views from the toe of the putter and from overhead. Data is automatically displayed on the computer for address and impact positions for putter loft, face aim & contact point, ball skid distance and head speed. Three sessions with different putters can be saved and the results compared. The dual video replay clearly shows the ball skidding with the distance shown in inches.
Club fitters use the Mitchell® Putting Studio to fit putters to length, loft, lie, & head style. It automatically measures the putter at address and impact for aim, face contact point, loft, skid distance and head speed. The system offers 3 sessions for testing different putters or re-testing after making adjustments. The reports page displays the putting data for comparison. It can be personalized and printed with fitting recommendations from the fitter. It is portable and can be used on a putting green for the real putting experience or indoors on artificial surfaces.
Club fitters now have a system that provides comparative putting data for fitting golfers to the correct putter length, loft, lie and head style. A Fitting Report lists the dynamic results for each putt with averages. This report can be personalized and printed with fitting recommendations by the fitter.
The Teaching Module software offers teaching professionals an economical teaching system. It dynamically measures aim, face contact point, path angle, acceleration, head speed, and stroke length, time & tempo. The face check feature shows the path of the putter head and the face angle.
Golf professionals now have a teaching tool that provides putting stroke data that the student can understand and visually see. The instructor can show the student their improvement by comparing the results of several putts. The reports page displays data for each putt with averages. It can be personalized and printed with instructional comments from the professional.
Golf professionals can check out their own putting stroke on the Mitchell® Putting Studio at the PGA Demo Day. They are encouraged to stop by Putting Green #1 at Orange County National on Wednesday January 25, 2006.
