TORRINGTON, Conn. – One of the golf industry’s leading custom fitting program, Certified Rifle Centers (CRC) will exhibit at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show and Convention, January 26-29, in Orlando, Fla. The CRC booth (#2739) will showcase the benefits and training of Rifle certification as well as the exciting, new Rifle products for 2006.

Certified Rifle Centers are considered the best of the best when it comes to clubmaking and custom fitting, utilizing the world’s most advanced steel shaft. Rifle Centers are schooled in the FM Precision Frequency Matching System and have learned how to build golf clubs to exacting frequencies using premium Rifle steel shafts. The manufacturer of Rifle steel shafts, Royal Precision, has repeatedly set benchmarks for the golf industry with one design innovation after another. Engineering breakthroughs such as Frequency Matching, and the sleek, stepless design, of the Rifle shaft have separated Royal Precision from its competitors.

Administered by Swing Science (www.swingscience.net), the CRC Program delivers special pricing, on-line ordering, free demos on new Rifle products and much more to its certified members. Rifle Centers are comprised of clubmakers and golf club repair shops which have been specially trained to install and/or repair golf clubs using Rifle-branded steel shafts. Each CRC is more technically astute compared to other clubmakers in a given area, and they receive quicker order fulfillment, greater access to more technical information and more personalized service.

"The Certified Rifle Center program signifies a clubmaker’s highest level of commitment to proper custom fitting with the industry’s most technically advanced steel shafts," says Howard Miller, president of Swing Science, a strategic partner with Royal Precision in administering the CRC program. "Certified Rifle Centers have the ability to utilize Frequency Coefficient Matching to maximize the custom-fitting process. Consumers can visit a Rifle Center and receive proprietary fitting information on Rifle-branded steel shafts to help them get the most out of a set of golf clubs."
