Jupiter, Fla. – The NGF (National Golf Foundation) is presenting the 4th annual Customer Loyalty Awards to managers of golf facilities that received high approval ratings from their customers. The awards will be presented January 26-29 at NGF booth #6914 during the PGA Merchandise Show.
The Customer Loyalty Awards are based on surveys fielded in 2005 through NGF’s online Customer Response System. As part of this program, golfers rate their satisfaction with facility amenities, course conditions, service and value.
"Facility managers who measure their customer loyalty – and, more importantly, the drivers behind that loyalty – are generating more rounds played than those who don’t. And NGF’s Customer Response System provides the focused insight on operations that can positively affect a course’s performance," said Andy Allen, NGF’s membership director. "The winners of these awards should be applauded for being recognized by their most important audience: their customers." Winners were selected from the more than 400 participating courses representing over 250,000 completed surveys.
NGF is presenting awards in three categories, each containing an overall winner and nine runners-up. The overall winner in the Premium Daily Fee category is FarmLinks Golf Club in Sylacauga, Ala. In the Daily Fee and Municipal categories, the winners are The Golf Club at Devils Tower in Hulett, Wyo., and The Vineyard Golf Course in Cincinnati, Ohio, respectively.
