Avon, Colorado – January 19, 2005 – Action Television announces the March 2006 launch of the 6th season of the popular half hour golf series Golf Life. The series rotates between three show formats including Golf Life Destinations, with tips and advice from great golf courses, Golf Life Gear, where regular golfers test golf products and Golf Life Academy, where average golfers are followed through an academy program. The 2006 series will include great new shows including the first episode featuring an installment of Golf Life Academy from Marriott’s Nick Faldo Institute in Orlando, Florida.

The Golf Life series has aired for many years across the US on well known regional sports networks including FSN West, FSN Arizona, FSN New England, Comcast SportsNet Chicago, Comcast SportsNet West, Comcast Sports Southeast, Sun Sports and Altitude Sports. This season Golf Life expands its reach to include a regular weekly schedule on Sports Net New York, FSN Detroit, FSN Ohio and FSN Pittsburgh. The total reach of the program will be 65 million subscribers with an average viewer base of 750,000 viewers per episode. These numbers are met through the multiple airings of each episode and strong weekend late afternoon/early evening airtimes following PGA coverage.

Action Television is also announcing that Golf Life will be distributed to Europe for the first time starting in March. The series will air in prime time on Skyline Television, a Pan European network reaching over 120 million satellite subscribers across Western and Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. The same episodes seen in the US will air in a parallel airing schedule in Europe. This will provide companies looking for exposure in the US and Europe a consistent television presence throughout the spring and summer months.

Golf Life will be on hand at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show shooting features with several companies and interviewing companies for inclusion in upcoming episodes of the Gear, Destination or Academy programs. "The PGA show is a great place to identify companies we want to include in future episodes and to capture features that help tell the stories of products" states Michael Billingsley, Executive Producer. Billingsley will be available to discuss involvement with Golf Life. If your interested in a meeting please contact Action Television or email Billingsley at mike@actiontelevision.com.
