ORLANDO, Fla. – Recognized golf announcers and personalities Roger Twibell and Mary Bryan will serve as co-hosts of a news show being produced in the Stulz Golf Technologies booth (#4510) at the upcoming PGA Merchandise Show. The footage will then be used to create an infomercial and promotional video for the company. The "Show in Show" concept will help Stulz launch its revolutionary Tri-Edge Shaft – a triangular shaft that greatly increases shot accuracy and distance and conforms to the rules of golf as stipulated by the USGA.
"Our goal is to educate consumers on why the proper golf shaft is so important for improving one’s game," said Andreas Stulz, founder and chairman. "We want golfers to truly understand how a shaft really affects their golf shots and show them why the Tri-Edge is so much better than the other options. We think this concept is a fun, interesting way to do that."
This is Stulz Golf Technologies’ first appearance at the PGA Merchandise Show. In addition to taping in the booth during the show, the company will also tape footage in the demo area at the show and during Demo Day on Wednesday, January 25.
"The PGA Merchandise Show is a great stage for the game of golf. Our company looks at the development of golf equipment in a different way and our approach to the show reflects this philosophy as well," added Stulz.
Twibell is the lead play-by-play announcer on ESPN’s golf coverage for both PGA and LPGA tour events. He is a 29-year veteran of sports reporting. Bryan has covered golf, including eight Major tournaments, for ABC, ESPN, NBC and CBS. She was the first female broadcaster to cover a men’s Major tournament. She is also a 13-year veteran of the LPGA Tour and continues to play on the LPGA Senior Tour.
Taped segments during the PGA Show will include interviews with company leaders and product designers, reports on how Stulz employs nano manufacturing technology to make its shafts, and traditional comparison testing.
Based in Orlando, Fla., Stulz Golf Technologies develops and manufactures innovative, high-performance golf shafts using precision composite engineering, non-traditional materials and forward thinking design. For more information on the company and its products, visit www.stulzgolf.com.
