(Grand Rapids, Mich.) One lucky golfer at the 18th annual West Michigan Golf Show– to be held Feb. 10-12 in downtown Grand Rapids– may walk away with $25,000 in casino chips, thanks to the Show’s newest sponsor—Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos. For years, one of the top attractions at the Show has been the Par-3 Challenge where patrons purchase shots at an indoor fully landscaped golf hole with event proceeds going to a local charity. This year, the Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos Par-3 Challenge will again invite patrons to test their skill with the hopes of one finalist on Sunday will make an ace and earn $25,000 in casino chips.
"Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos is very pleased to sponsor the Par-3 Challenge at the 2006 West Michigan Golf Show," said Michael Michaud, Marketing Director. "As one of the most popular features of the Show, the Par-3 Challenge will help to showcase our gaming property while also raising charity support for Big Brothers/Big Sisters."
Show Manager Carolyn Alt echoed Michaud’s enthusiasm on this news. "We’re excited about Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos stepping forward and partnering with us on the Par-3 Challenge. It’s a win-win-win equation for the Resort, the Golf Show and local charity."
