Orlando, FL – For the second week in a row, Rife Putters new GR6 Series Aussie Blade putter found itself at the top of the leader board going into Sunday’s Championship Round on the PGA Tour. Last week, the Aussie captured a 2nd Place Finish at The Sony Open, held at Waialae Country Club in Hawaii, and this week Rife’s Aussie blade putter captured its first Victory on the PGA Tour at The Bob Hope Chrylser Classic in California. Remarkably, the Aussie has now recorded a Victory and two 2nd Place Finishes in the last 3 full field events on the PGA Tour.
"On behalf of everyone at Rife Putters we would like to congratulate the Winner of the 2006 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic on his recent success with our new GR6 Series Aussie putter" said Matt Molloy, COO of Rife Putters. "He has always been one of the best ball strikers on the Tour. It’s a well-known fact that in the past he’s struggled with his putting at times and to see him turn it around like this and go from being ranked 78th in putting average last season to 4th this season, with two straight full field 2nd place finishes and now a victory, has been absolutely thrilling to watch. We are looking forward to a wonderful year from him, the Aussie, and all of our GR6 Series putters which we will be unveiling this week at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show."
Many Tour Players have had similar results with the RollGroove Technology that the Rife putters offers. Dana Quigley, The 2005 Champions Tour Player Of The Year, finished 1st on The Money Leaders List 2nd on The Charles Schwab Cup Points List with his Guerin Rife Two Bar putter in hand last season.
The new GR6 Series of putters will be on display in Meeting Room 306A at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, January 26th thru the 29th.
About Rife Putters
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
