Increased focus on increasing revenues/ cutting fixed costs
ATLANTA, GA – January 24, 2005. LastMinuteGolfer.com announced today that it plans to step up its efforts to help each of its participating courses to reduce their fixed costs. The company, currently representing the nation’s largest community of golfers (228,874 members), plans to subsidize range ball purchases made by hundreds of golf courses across North America.
LastMinuteGolfer’s growing family of over 425 golf courses all will have a chance to benefit directly from this effort, and it is expected that several of the major ball manufacturers will participate at some level.
"We’ve spent seven years fine tuning strategies and methods to increase revenue at golf courses while maintaining price integrity in local markets," said Mike Last, President and Founder of LastMinuteGolfer.com, "Now it’s time to expand our efforts to tackle the expense side of the equation at the course level. This week at the PGA Merchandise Show, we’ll be offering partnership opportunities for range ball manufacturers and asking them to assist us with this effort."
Golf Course managers will find details of this program as they become available by logging in at: www.lastminutegolfer.com/Course . The projected release date is between February 1 and February 15.
