Price increases Feb. 1 for the all-inclusive CEO Golf Challenge program at The Masters

BOULDER, CO – CEO Challenge LLC is pleased to announce the kick-off to the 2006 CEO Golf Challenge season will take place during the greatest golf tournament in the world – The Masters in Augusta, GA from April 6 – 9.

The CEO Golf Challenge program includes a 36-hole exclusive CEO Golf Challenge tournament, deluxe private accommodations, a Saturday Series Pro-Am tournament with PGA TOUR pros, and much coveted badges to The Masters. The all inclusive price is currently $12,000 and supply is LIMITED to only 36 participants. Due to demand, prices will be increasing to $13,000 on February 1. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, and interest in the event is understandably very high, so potential participants are encouraged to sign up now. No applications will be accepted after March 1, 2006.

Participants must be CEO, Chief Officer, or company President, and the field is limited to ensure an intimate atmosphere and a wide open golf course for the tournament. The top six CEOs (3 low net, 3 low gross) will be invited to the CEO Golf World Championship in the fall of 2006 to compete for the title of Best CEO Golfer!

CEO Challenge LLC capitalized on its deep experience organizing events for CEOs to design an incredible all-inclusive program that includes:

  • Four nights accommodation in 5-bedroom private homes in Augusta (all rooms with private bath)
  • Masters tournament badge and access to the beautiful Championship Club, directly across from the Augusta National entrance gate
  • CEO Challenge tournament at The Palmetto Golf Club, designed so high handicappers are in the thick of the action
  • The opportunity to play with two PGA TOUR Pros at a Saturday Series event at The Reserve Club at Woodside Plantation
  • Filming of the CEO Golf tournament by WGL Entertainment for a future TV series
  • All meals and beverages, including an Awards Celebration Dinner
  • CEO Golf Challenge custom apparel, and gifts for each golfer
  • Charity contribution to the Prostate Cancer Foundation on behalf of each participant
  • All transfers from arrival Thursday morning to departure Sunday evening

    Cost = $12,000

    Note: $13,000 after February 1!

Entry closes on March 1, 2006

For an application form please go to www.ceogolfchallenge.com. For more information please contact Joanne Noble at Joanne@ceogolfchallenge.com, or 416-254-4429.

    The Tournament format:

  • The CEO Golf Challenge tournament takes place Thursday afternoon and Friday, and consists of 36 holes of stroke play
  • For the net division the maximum handicaps are 21 for men, and 27 for women
  • Top three golfers in each division will be acknowledged at an Awards Dinner on Friday night, and invited to attend the CEO Golf World Championship at no cost*
  • The top nine low gross players from the CEO tournament will be captains for the Saturday Series Pro-Am event, and will choose their team members, and the PGA TOUR Pros that will play with their team on Saturday based on which Pros are available after the Friday ‘cut’ at The Masters
  • Saturday Series Pro-Am is a ‘Shamble’ format. (Because each team will have the option of using its pro’s drives, handicaps are taken at 75% of value.)

o At each hole, all players hit their second shot from their choice of the team’s best drive, then each player plays his own ball in

o Each player earns points for net birdies (1), eagles (2), and double eagles (3)

o Team with the most points at the end of the round wins

o Awards lunch with the PGA TOUR Pros, followed by access to The Masters
