Meridian, Idaho – Once again, the President of Golfer’s Footprint®, Inc, Marshall Townsend II, has put together a short list of swing trainers and game improvement aids to help enhance your training program.
"As a lifelong trainer, coach, and mentor, one of my greatest joys is being able to match a teaching strategy to a student’s learning style, no matter what I’m teaching. When that happens, I can really see the student start to shine. For any instructor, this is what makes teaching a life-long love."
I think we can all agree that every golfer does not learn the same way. The types of trainings aids they need vary with the way they learn. The Golfer’s Footprint® Swing Trainer is a highly visual aid, ideally suited for golfers who learn visually. One golfer may need a mechanical-type aid like David Leadbetter’s SwingSetter to get the feel and tempo of the swing. Another may need only to watch a video or DVD lesson, or to receive a hands-on lesson from a pro. More than likely, golfers need a combination of the above.
To help golf professionals find a comprehensive set of training aids to help standardize and enhance their teaching and coaching programs, the Golfer’s Footprint® has put together a list of trainers that target different learning styles.
This week’s 2006 PGA Merchandise Show will be an excellent place to see and order these training aids from your favorite vendors. Marshall Townsend will be at the show looking for new products to review for the 2006 Spring Training Aid "Top Ten" List. He will also be taking orders on the highly successful Golfer’s Footprint® Swing Trainer and can be found in the International Network of Golf’s (ING) Hospitality Room (Room 309-A, next to the Media Center.)
