Innovative Wedge Company Wows Consumers in Orlando

Orlando, FL—F2 wedges featuring Face Forward Technology was the hit of Golfweek Magazine’s GOLFEST at Orange County National Golf Center in Orlando, FL, January 21-22, 2006.

"Golfweek hosted an incredible event allowing manufactures to display their product and have consumers demo clubs in a variety of ‘on-course’ situations," said Derrick Dobbin, F2 Golf’s Managing Partner. "We were quite pleased not only by the sales the event generated, but by the attention and awareness F2 wedges have received from the public."

Throughout the weekend, golfers were standing five deep at the 10 hitting bays that were available for F2 potential customers. Jeff Peterman, F2’s owner and designer, was on hand to meet and greet the curious. Peterman, who is also a teaching professional at Painted Desert Golf Club in Las Vegas, gave short game lessons on the use of all four F2 wedges every half hour.

"He wowed the crowd with his passion, his short game tips and his imaginative and creative shots around the green," said John Kanalas, an attendee from Daytona Beach. "My F2 wedge cost $99.00; the lesson was priceless."

The unique F2 face forward technology places the leading edge of the blade ahead of the hosel. This allows golfers to keep their hands in the proper position ahead of the club throughout the shot eliminating shanks and a variety of mishit chips. The wedges come in 52, 56, 58 and 60 degree models.

"Most attendees recognized our wedges from our infomercial on the Golf Channel," commented Dobbin, "Our wedges are unconventional looking. Many golfers were able to experience our technology for the first time and see and feel how easy F2 wedges are to hit."

Tom Hall, Director of Operations for Edwin Watts in Orlando, told Dobbin that he was very impressed with the number of F2 wedges they sold during GOLFEST.

"We’re pleased to announce that due to our success at GOLFEST, F2 wedges will soon be available in all 5 Edwin Watts locations throughout the Orlando area," said Dobbin. "This event was proof that golfers are beginning to agree that F2’s face forward technology is one of the best advancements in wedge technology ever."
